The Eco-Club established in the college on 9th, Sep’2014 under the auspices of KrishnagiriForest department, creates in the students a love of nature and Echo Awareness. It helps them to select and promote the selection of eco-friendly products and to preserve and protects threatened species of plants and animals from extinction. Eco-Club unit organizes medical plant exhibition, nature quiz competitions, an essay and painting competitions, Flower Rangoli contests and conducts field visits and tours. Also it maintains the herbal garden in the college.
Our faculty does regular action research on various educationally relevant topics and publishes them regularly.
Articles from newspapers, journals and periodicals are classified and documented and maintained up-to-date.
One of the objectives of the college is to provide in-service training to the administrator & teachers of different schools. This is to update them with new technologies and innovations in education. Our staff conducts a number of in service programmers every year.
The YRC is the most important constituent of its mother organization, Indian Red Cross. It is a student movement organized for students in Colleges and Technical Institutions. YRC in Sre Ramana College of Education was established in last academic year 2014-15as per the orders of the Tamil Nadu Government & Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University.
